joblack
I´m using Windows 2003 Server and Mac OS X86. I´ve got the problem that the clock from Windows and Mac OS X jumps always one hour. The time zone is the same in windows and Mac OS X86 - but Mac OS X seems to save the wrong BIOS time ( - 1 hour). Any suggestions? I´ve also make time server updates on both systems ... sigxcpu
already replied, but.... Mac OS is treating system real clock (bios clock) as UTC and Windows treats it as local time. Move somewhere where timezone is GMT and you're done Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/6752-clock-problems/#findComment-41684 Share on other sites
joblack
Thanks GMT works ..but then the time server via Internet doesn´t work anymore (or gives the wrong time). dkelley
I had the same problem - just changed my timezone in osx to NOUAKCHOTT (!!) and it's correct now. My clock in dashboard says NOUAKCHOOT now, but not too annoying otherwise. Oddly, only my laptop has this problem. My desktop reads the time properly somehow for my local (pacific) timezone in both operating systems. phb
Windows has a setting for "Hardware clock is in Local Tiime" aswell, basically decide how you want it represented in the BIOS, (local time or UTC/GMT), then make sure both OS honor that, it should be possbile to find the correct settings on all OS'es. /Johan Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/6752-clock-problems/#findComment-53285 Share on other sites

Escape311
Same situation here too. I just started dual-booting last night and noticed that the clock is always different going from Windows to OSX. That's wacky.
