Hi together!

I've got an Mac Book Pro. An I pre ordered Leopard.

So now I'm asking, if its possible, to install Leopard without formate my harddisc first.

Can I just put the cd in and install?

Can I keep my files, music etc. without make a back up or something like this?

or would leopard delete everything when it installs?

Thank you for your help. and sorry for bad english

Best regards

As with previous versions of OS X, you have a few options. You could install Leopard to an external hard drive, or do an "Archive and Install" over your current system, which moves your old files into a folder. It's always a good idea to have a backup, though, just in case something goes awry.
