mb2696 Posted October 15, 2007 Share Posted October 15, 2007 see the attached screenshot. after installing, large parts of the system are missing upon booting up. i have successfully installed osx on this hardware several times before. however when i tried reinstalling it again (with same osx86 disc) this comes up. ive tried reinstalling several times. anyone else ever seen this problem? im using uphuck 10.4.9 v1.3 with the same install configuration as used before when it worked. i cant seem to think of anything that is different (hardware or install configuration) from when i installed successfully. You didn't have a firewire HD drive attached when you installed did you? Did you check to see if the the apps weren't really installed or just that the reference to them used in the dock icons was somehow wrong?
