Hello all, I've studied a lot on this forum.

In the last moth I've bough all the components and I installed osx.... you can see in my signature what is working and what not working.

I've some noobie questions:

- Using Natit kext does it need to edit some files to tell osx I want 2 monitors together? (one works if the other is disconnected, if all 2 are connected only the vga connector works, the DVI (with adapter) go in stand by). ... Do I need another video card to have dual head?

- I use NTFS3G but osx see my ntfs disks (shared with XP and Ubuntu) as network devices, with slow performance accessing them (I use this machine recording audio), is there a workout to speed up things?

- The last one: is possible to add languages? I would read my OS in Italian....

Thank u in advance if someone can help me....... and thank u to all the community for the big support you are givin writing...and writing...

Try using NVInject by Gotoh, its the update of Natit, basically.

Nope, ntfs-3g is slow. The guy who 'ported' it if you will admits that its slow. He got out of working on it but supposedly is passing on his knowledge. Maybe someday we'll have a better solution.

I don't know about the languages. I would think it might be possible, but also more work than its worth.

. . . I use NTFS3G but osx see my ntfs disks (shared with XP and Ubuntu) as network devices, with slow performance accessing them (I use this machine recording audio), is there a workout to speed up things?
- Hi: I've used ntfs-3G a fair bit [in both Linux & OSX] & the only point I'd like to add to thestevo's reply is that I wouldn't rely upon it in a working environment, & indeed no longer use it after some data-corruption.

I appreciate the 4GB single-file limitation of FA32 may make your audio-recording tasks unworkable; so can only suggest you look at things the other way round, & think about using MacDrive under Win32 to access mac-format mass storage: this is reliable & quick.
