~pcwiz
Looks good to me. It says fully compatible in the wiki. If you need help getting it to work after installing the card, see these threads: http://www.insanelymac.com/lofiversion/index.php/t32992.html http://www.insanelymac.com/lofiversion/index.php/t30069.html http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=37175 Hope this helps. audrys
You're welcome I know that it has been numorouse attempts to get 512MB cards to work in OSx86 hackintosh with little bit of hack and with some success stories, I wonder if my original, MAC certified, designed for mac OSX with its original ATI driver from ATI website - my ATI x1900 with 512MB will be friendly accepted by my hackintosh? anyone had any experience with that. cyclonefr
Buying a Mac card for PC is pointless, since it has EFI and your PC doesn't, so basically you still need to put natit/titan to make it fully recognized on your hackintosh. So at this point, just buy a PC X1900, it is cheaper and does the same And yes you'll use ORIGINAL Apple drivers, NATIT/TITAN is just a hack so Apple's driveers are loaded with PC Cards (and AGAIN, the Mac version of it will be considered as a PC card on your PC) Yep, 512MB works with X1900. No special hack. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/65802-buying-ati-x1900-mac-video-card/#findComment-466397 Share on other sites
~pcwiz
Its only the 512MB nVidia cards that need to be flashed to work. No problems like that with ATi.
