oSxFr33k
I am pulling my Hair out all week. Day and night installing Jas 10.4.8 Uphuck;s 10.4.9 R 1.3 and 10.4.9 1.4i R3. And the new Kalyway's Leopard DVD. I cannot still get Audio, Onboard wired and wireless to work. Any hope of this G33 chipset being supoorted soon or eventually? I have googled searched and checked the wiki osx86 project site and no one has relaly reported anything on this chipset. Only the P35 chipset on the Asus and Gigbyte boards and they also are unable to get Onboard Lan and wireless to work. When I put in a Fedora Linux Live CD version 8 test 3, the latest Live CD it also is unable to detect both onboard Lan and wireless so I don't think this is a Hackintosh issue but more a ACPI maybe or propietory chipset issue? What is this new Technology Intel will have called EFI? Will this take the place of the BIOS and is this for Apple only Computers that Intel will sell this technology to? If so then we are done with trying to get Hackintosh to work on newer PC's!! crikfromcincy
do tell if you got it working.... I have the same system, and I'm tired of consistently failing on this install. Took me 3 days to get my MBR back to normal so I could have my PC back. update: got iatkos install to work, no sound, no wifi/ethernet, and for some reason my mbox2 isn't being recognized. Let me know if you get it working! Thanks.
