Azurael
I think it'll run very slowly with a 1.86MHz CPU. I think an upgrade is in order It's OK: Currys are advertising 8 & 10.2 pixel dSLR cameras in their shop window in Bath at the moment. vandall
That processor will be just fine.. what will be responsible for the ammount of success you will have will be your motherboard. There is no deffinative official works for all 'how to' guide in any language. You will need to search the forums for your hardware, do your research then try it out... like we all have had to. The Intel boards are very good for hackintosh uses. I would suggest buying a new hard drive for the install. You may need a IDE/SATA to USB to boot the installation DVD. SA22C
I can't even find any information on that motherboard with a Google search... Most of the Intel chipsets work well, but there have been some problems with the ICHx controllers and I'm not sure how well the x3000 integrated video works. Vandall is right on when he states that a new hard drive is ideal for the install though. It's way easier to multiboot using the BIOS bootloader than it is to re-partition an existing drive and try to adapt chain0 or GRUB.
