ebbot
I got the same problem, it delays boot with 30 sec, but will still boot up. I haven't got a clue why that is... mesasone
Just chiming in to say that I also have received that message during start up, however it does not prevent OSX from booting. ebbot
Hooray, I 've found the solution! In my award bios, I went to SATA settings, onchip SATA, SATA only; operating in legacy mode. That got rid of the dreaded "couldn't set up diskarb sessions" hang at boot time!! Windows seems to work fine too! Thank you Uphuck! johnnym
I'm stuck too at the same spot (see above in Ebbot's post), installing Uphuck's 10.4.9 1.4i r3 [date] [time] mDNSresponder : adding browse domain local (that's where it hangs) There's not much to find on this particular problem. I'll try Jas' 10.4.8 and see what it will bring.
