  1. iATKOS v2.0i released!

will this version work with amd if pached with the old amd patcher from iATKOS v1 ?
  2. Leo4All-10.5.2 Universal AMD/INTEL[SSE2/SSE3]

well i had this prob...havnt gotten leopard to boot however...if u boot up with like a win98 disk with fdisk on it...u can set your windows partion as active and should be able to boot back up that way (vista u will prob have to repair aswell)
  3. Zephyroth 10.5.2 or Kalyway 10.5.2

seems liek fro mreadin posts kalyway might be your better bet for the amd....if not leo4allv2 or v3
  4. Zephyroth 10.5.2 Booting Really Slow!

what are your specs? it looks liek were all running amd...might be the missing factor in while the boot up is forever btw: kextd[10]: iokitwaitquiet() timed out is the error i get
  5. Leopard on Dell Inspiron 1501

im going ot delete that now give it a try....i couldnt even get v3 too get past boot...it would just hang durring the cd boot. can ias kyou a wuestio nregaurding v2, do you by chance boot normal or do you have to do somthibg crazy to log in, as i do? and are your specs the same as my 1501?
  6. managed to get leo4allv2 10.5.2 on my dell 1501 laptop (specs below in signiture) im lookin to fine tune my start options to boot quicker and be a little more stable once in os x. so far i can get to my desktop by going thru -s at the boot ptompt. i then have to mount the disk and exit outand after a few stalls (hitting enter or moving mouse) it eventualy loads to the desktop. when i boot up in -v mode after it detects my video drivers i get a: (in yellow- but dose not halt the system) failed to load extensions org.tgwbd.drover.acpips2num somtimes the first system halt is: IOKitwaitQuiet() timedout waiting to write kernal symbols other times report crash[72]: saved crashreport to /library/logs/crashreporter/configd_2008-04-28-114316_localhostcrash using uid: 0 gid: 0 euid: 0 egid: 0airport_brcm43xx: eathernet address 00:1c:26:0e:d2:4eCode Signing: sc_invalad_page: p=80[configd] clearing cs_valid then i hit enter and it gose until error: driverloadedcallback(-300) couldnt send event ({contents = "en0"}\n)}) and it seems to stop ...but if i give it like 5 mins then move the mouse or hit enter it continues to boot up. so far wireless worked out of box ive patched my sound (working but glichy) setup the calisto kexts and installed the powermanagment but thats not workin (it worked in prior installs so im a little baffled by this) btw got the dual boot with vista working smoothly...now, but that was inface a mother you know what. i just went into the comp and dug the log out...can anyone make heads or tails of it? 7. Official Dell Inspiron 1501 Guide

dose anyone have a fairly practical Leopard 1501 dell? im lookin to fine tune my start options to boot quicker and be a little more stable once in osx. so far i can get to my desktop my going thru -s and exiting out of there , and after a few stalls (takes about 10mins) and me either hitting enter of moving the mouse it eventualy loads to the desktop so far ive patched my sound (working but glichy) setup the calisto kexts and installed the powermanagment but thats not workin (it worked in prior installs so im a little baffled by this) im turning to the boad to bail me out here ;-) btw got the dual boot with vista working smoothly
  8. Leopard on Dell Inspiron 1501

is anyone else having trouble with there wireless....haha ive come to the conclusion its all luck on an installer what works and dont work...im fianly dual booting but my mac side needs alot of work. i still have to boot into mac by going -s at the darwin prompt then exit. i had video working good before i had to reinstall *leo4allv2 , now i cant get it to work haha wireless works ...when it wants to let me boot up with it enababled in bios sound is choppy fellow 1501ers i need your input on your "com.apple.Boot.plist" settings, im trying to get a feel for how everyone else is running. anything you enabled or disabled, installed or deleted might help me out.
  9. Leopard on Dell Inspiron 1501

ok im finally starting to run pretty stable, what is the best kernel for our 1501's running leopard? is the stac9200.txt the best to patch our audio with...i have the laggy audio that someone else described too, and im wondering if i put a better kernel in if that will fix my one problem. my other problem is bootup....still have to go thru -s mount the root and exit into boot...dose everyone here have to do that or is there away to eliminate certain files so that normal boot up can be achieved?
  10. Leopard on Dell Inspiron 1501

what did you install first leopard or vista?
  11. i ahd the same problem aswell...i did find out though if i had an external hd or a usb jumpdrive it wouldnt do that laggy mouse thing. ;-)
  12. Leo4Allv3

Dvd will not even get to initial install: hangs right after "extension "com.apple.driver.itunesphonedriver" has no explictit kernal dependency" then "still waiting on root device". anyone else have any luck or no luck on a dell 1501....im trying to get this pig to fly. ill keep ya updated if i make any progress.
  13. Leopard on Dell Inspiron 1501

quick question about your dual boot...did you install leo first or vista?and do you have them both on a single drive? once i get leo working good my goal is to install vista on disk0s2.
  14. Question about Repairing Permisions

    haha thanks ;-)
