dj_myk Posted September 29, 2007 Share Posted September 29, 2007 Hi all I have decided to install Mac OSX on my laptop. I have the following setup Toshiba Portage M100 Centrino 1.3 GHz laptop with 1 Gig of ram. The onboard Sound card I believe is a Sound Max. However when I go into the sounds there is no Output or Input device. Can anyone assist or help me out. I have finally got the dual booting working between XP and Mac OSX I am running OSX version 10.4.6. On the reboot it says it failed to load the driver. ~pcwiz Posted October 1, 2007 Share Posted October 1, 2007 Too bad... I don't have SoundMax myself so its hard to give additional pointers. The last thing I recommend is installing the Azalia Audio Driver from your install disc. Its pretty much a universal driver that works for many cards so I suggest you try it.
