Toaster37
I downloaded the .dmg file from apple and ran the installer. It will not detect my local hard disk which prevents me from installing the update on my computer. Is there any work around to this. Also my software updater just doesn't work. It sits at about 1/2 of the progress bar for hours. Anyone have any help for this issue? There's no product key to send back to Apple. Anyway, I've not had a problem with Software Update, as long I don't select anything major like a security update (don't want to try), or an OS X update. Good thing I actually bought my copy of XP, and have a legit install of Tiger (though for a real mac, which is used on my mac mini). Swami the Jerk
nah.. i was not talkin abt the XP which i have now.. this one is a pirated one.. but, its some "modded" version so that it shows up as a genuine one.. dunno how the creator did tht.. i even went to the micro$oft website to test it it works! it shows tht my XP is genuine hope one day osx too will have been modded in tht fashion Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/64450-itunes-update/#findComment-456983 Share on other sites
