h4rb1ng3r
I have downloaded the latest iTunes Update. I havent installed it yet. Will it not work, similar to installing Flash 8 for Safari, as they are both compiled for PPC's? Cheers Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/6431-will-ugrading-to-the-latest-itunes-break-it/ Share on other sites
phb
If it installs correctly (Probably won't), it will be PPC and not x86, so it'll be quite a bit slower. floatingtrem
iTunes 6.0.2 seems to run without the initial lag of most other ppc apps, and i've yet to see it slow down at all. I wouldnt be surprized if Apple already has it as a universal bianary. My install came with 6.0.2d (developers version) so I know they've made it at least. (And there was also no reason for me to install, but hey i thought i'd give it a shot) Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/6431-will-ugrading-to-the-latest-itunes-break-it/#findComment-45740 Share on other sites
antic
I've downloaded it and it installed fine is working without any issues. Just watch out for the "Ministore" feature. From what I've heard they can identify what tracks they have on your Computer and who knows what else.
