I havent been able to get the sound to work yet, and i havent tried getting SATA to work yet either. Otherwise its runs really smooth. randomperson21 Posted January 15, 2006 Share Posted January 15, 2006 I'm using an ECS NForce4-A939. No ethernet, sound took a bit to set up. But my system is pretty unstable when running in dual core mode. If i boot normally, OSX sees both of the cores, but everything is buggy and it crashes often. If i pass in platform=x86pc, everythings fast and smooth, but OSX cannot see the second core. guess its sort of a tradeoff between speed and stability..... AMD Athlon 64 3000+ ECS A939 Nforce4 1 GB Kingston DDR 400 Samsung 250GB IDE Maxtor 160GB SATA Radeon x600 128mb But when I try to install the mac 10.4.8 it hangs on initial screen, I've tried with a USB DVD-ROM and they didn't find the IDE disk Any suggestion?
