JonyBravo
I was hoping someone can point me to a tutorial, or give me guidance, on how to change what drivers get loaded. How to determine what drivers may be causing a boot issue. Also, if I disable (for example) the video driver, will a default/generic driver be loaded (like in safe mode)? Thanks for any help. JonyBravo
Alright, here it goes. Note that I am typing ALL of this manually as I have no idea how to copy and paste from the boot screen. And it freezes anyway. I am typing from where the errors seem to be starting: ------------------------------ GFX0: family specific matching fails display: family specific matching fails Matching service count = 2 Matching service count = 4 Matching service count = 4 Matching service count = 4 Matching service count = 4 Matching service count = 4 GFX0: family specific matching fails display: family specific matching fails USBF: 138.367 [0x3bcc900] USB HID Interface #0 of device USB Mouse @ 2 (0x5d100000) Sep 24 14:09:50 kextd[38]: a link/load error occured for kernel extension /system/Library/Extensions/IONetworkingFamily.kext/Contents/PlugIns/AppleBCM440XEthernet.kext GFX0: family specific matching fails display: family specific matching fails ApplePS2Trackpad: Synaptics TouchPad v6.2 AppleHDA.kext failed to load: unable to locate 'layout-id' property.
