So that my mac will be ready when i buy logic studio! And i'm having a hard time finding these things for the G4. Can someone plz point me in the right direction!?!?!? Headrush69 Posted September 23, 2007 Share Posted September 23, 2007 What's the exact model listed on the back? It's probably as simply as opening it and inserting PC100 or PC133 RAM. (Depends what you have in there already) Any IDE HD should work fine. (Probably limited to 137GB though) You have to see if the current drive is IDE or SCSI. Either way, adding an IDE is simple and there are included HD brackets to add a first or second HD. And on the back it says pc2700. That machine indeed takes 4 - PC2100 (dual 867), or 4 - PC2700 (dual 1+) 2.5v, unbuffered, 8-byte, nonparity 184-pin DDR SDRAM. This machine also has >137GB HD support. Now i'm going for 2 :)next i'm getting another harddrive and i'll be all set for Logic Studio :Dthanx 4 the help everyone. Edit: I wanted to come back and say thanks again to nonny mouse. This site is perfect. Got everything I need @ a low low price.
