theelf
Hi, thanxs to reply. I boot a Linux Live, and in /proc/cpuinfo in flags say "SSE SSE2" So i think this CPU support SSE2 Linux works perfect, so the hardware is not bad thanxs Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/64149-impossible-to-install/#findComment-454536 Share on other sites
~pcwiz
Just because Linux works, that does not mean AT ALL that OS X is going to run. As for your issue, it seems to be a CPU issue. Manix
I had the same problem on an old P4 processor...the chipset on the P4 is probably too old to support anything higher than 10.4.3 (I don't know, I've only succeded on getting 10.4.1 running on said computer with processor). theelf
Hi, Manix i try 10.4.3 and same problem. But, yes, 10.4.1 works!!!!! now, i think the problem is the finder. I wonder if is possible to update to 10.4.8, but using the 10.4.1 finder... someone have an idea? thanxs!!
