skunkmere Posted September 22, 2007 Share Posted September 22, 2007 i set up my pc with xp pro and 10.4.9 it works good but i gotta use the bios to switch between os's . i got my xp on a sata drive alone. my osx86 on a ide alone. which method is best to give me a option between both os's. is there a way i could hot switch between both os's while they're eunning i think i saw that somewhere. also i got a dual core processor and it boast that i could run diffrent os on each core. BS? ~pcwiz Posted September 22, 2007 Share Posted September 22, 2007 Clarifications: You cannot switch between XP and OSx86 when you are running and Dual Core processors can NOT run 2 OSes at the same time. For a bootloader, you can use the chain0 method, which uses the existing XP bootloader to load OSx86 or you could use Acronis OS Selector which is harder. I recommend you use chain0.
