bluedragon1971
MAC addresses are burned into a ROM on your network card by the manufacturer and can't be changed. Why do you need to change it anyway? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/63747-changin-mac-address-on-os-x-1049/#findComment-451422 Share on other sites

taanim
u might wanna add a sudo infront for the second command.. cos its a root level requirement.. hey rathalos i dont need sudo command to get root privilege. I have changed my account to root privilege, if u issue the command #sudo passwd it will give u the option to change root password, so that u can use the #su - command once to get root permission using your new password. Now every time you dont need to add su for any root level command. Any other solution to change the MAC address?? Waiting for your reply.
