homers
Hi What is the best software for playing DVDs and videos such as AVI's? Quicktime is rubbish, it can't go full screen. Synaesthesia
Or crack to Quicktime Pro and install Perian 1.0. Then it works great. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/63355-movie-playing-software/#findComment-448852 Share on other sites
A Nonny Moose
The reason why avi playback is fishy is because there are a ton of different codecs covered under avi. One file can have an entirely different codec from another file that shares the same avi extension.QuickTime will offer limited avi playback and that limit gets bigger with Perian. But it still can't play 100% of the avi files out there. Since all the best porn is avi (sarcasm, btw), you need something like VLC or MPlayer to play all of those avi files. Quicktime is rubbish, it can't go full screen./facepalmTHE NEWEST VERSION WILL DO FULL SCREEN FOR FREE.
