His board went out and they installed an Asus P4S800-MX Sis661 DDR400 AGP8x and is not working well with 10.4 at all What would be the best mother board to get to run OSX86? I have a Gigabyte K8NS (AMD Socket 754, Nforce3 250) with onboard sound (ALC850 - works) and LAN (doesn't work). Geforce 6600GT runs fine 'out of the box' using Titan drivers, QE/CI enabled, but listed as 'PCI' instead of AGP. Like others, I haven't been able to get AGP and QE/CI listed and working at the same time, but I see no real world performance problems. jaycard Posted September 10, 2007 Share Posted September 10, 2007 I use an Intel D945GCCR motherboard. It works real nice 99% except for intel 10/100 pro ve LAN needs a little tinkering with to get functioning. (Info on that can be found on this board.) Solved it by installing an aftermarket realtek pci lan card. The Intel is a nice clean board. But, if you're into overclocking... its definately not the board for you.
