What is so special with the "Mac OSX x86 10.4.3 build 8f1111 patched with Wesley's patch" version?

I used to have X86 10.4.1 installed natively on my Dell Dimension 8400 and thought it was great, but what's the big deal over this new version and patch? Sorry, I haven't been keeping up to date with the scene. If this new version is very good I plan on dual booting once again with this new version.

 

Also, what does Wesley's patch have that others don't? Is this able to be installed natively?

I have that iso. I have done it yet, though. Here's the place where he talks about it and stuff.

 

You might need that java boot patch from maxxuss, but he talks about that there.

I actually don't think you need that boot patch with that iso. It has wesley's patch v1.1, which fixes it, i believe. When I did the Java boot patch, it said, 100% complete and 0 changed. I opened up winhex and couldn't find the numbers it changed, so I guess it does fix it.

you also have the JaS patched version which is very good and supports a lot of different hardware
