  1. Americans

Are you kidding me? Come to Australia. Don't believe that we're what your shows on Fox portray us to be (talking about LOST in particular there).
  2. Vmware 10.4.3 installation

Sure you did, Mr Developer. Everything you've asked is answered in the Wiki, I'm almost sure of it. If you don't take the time to read information readily available, nobody should bother reading and replying to this post. Take that as a tip.
  3. Mac Intel Tv Comercial

    Is that Kiefer Sutherland's voice?
  4. Date and Time

Well I have the same thing, but I get 11 hours difference. I'm GMT+10.
  5. Run 'undo' patches on your mach_kernel. I got a big increase in performance after. Check maxxuss website etc.
  6. Unable to login to my windows share -- FIX ALIAS??

I get this mount_smbfs: negotiate phase failed: syserr = Software caused connection abort Googling leads to dead ends
  7. I'm going to check out Cocktail in a minute, but I don't know if that will do what I want? I just want to keep the minimize / zoom / close buttons in that order in the top right. I'm getting frustrated using the top left lol. Tried a search but nothing came up. Any ideas? Cheers.
  8. The generic patch for 81111a by JaS is designed to give people MOST compatibility. For most people on decent systems, it will probably end up being slower than 10.4.1. Applied undo patches to my mach_kernel and everything is VERY fast. XBench still reports a pretty low score of 72, but I don't really believe it's that bad at all. Just need to apply the fix for the mouse artifacts with my ATi Radeon 9600 Pro and I'm set
  9. Universal Requests?

Fugi seems to be working pretty well, successfully connected and played around with my University's SSH connection Thanks. DoubleCommand I will test as soon as I can work out how to open System Prefs with Rosetta (seems to be gone from the build I am using)..
  10. Yeah I was thinking of the same thing, I remember seeing the options a while ago. I'll try it out later. Thanks
  11. Can you do the same with Outlook 2003?
  12. Universal Requests?

Thanks a lot! Mind you I am running 8B1025 so I will try with 8F1111 (I'm about to upgrade as I type). 13. Energy Saver

I'm trying to use the monitor energy saver. When it says 'inactivity', is that talking about just mouse / kb input inactivity? I would assume so, otherwise that's useless. But anywho, all that happens when I try this is the cursor disappears. Monitor doesn't turn off. Guessing due to graphic card / monitor drivers not being installed? Correct? Or is it working for anybody?
  14. Oh I realise that I can't use PPC drivers, my gripe is that even for PPC users who fork out the $$ to buy the MS product, Microsoft does a rubbish job of supporting those users.
  15. Universal Requests?

Thanks for the suggestion. I would also be really grateful if someone could port this? http://doublecommand.sourceforge.net/ Cheers.
