Roy Jovero
Hi all, I don't quite know how to explain this, but everytime I reboot, or boot up, I seem to lose data and/or revert to a previous state. Just today, I noticed some applications requiring my assistance, when they never did before (i.e. Mail). Then I was playing around with VMWare Fusion and shut down. When I booted in, my XP VM was gone, my torrents were gone, my iPhoto events were gone, and more that I can't even think of. I'm afraid that sooner or later, my MBP will go back to a state like that after a fresh install. Is there anyone out there that may know what's causing this? And what can i do to get my system back to where I liked it? Thanks in advance! hecker
Hmm, I am not sure about this one but it seems like your user's profile could be corrupted. Install a little program called Onyx (free) and run the system correcting tools (ie: fix permissions, optimization). Good luck, hecker Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/62806-help-keep-losing-data/#findComment-444827 Share on other sites
