xtraa
Hi, I couldn't find a single thread and the search fuction does ignore terms with less than four letters so I would like to ask anyone directly: Have you already tried this security update? And if yes, also on AMD? Thanks in advance Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/62505-does-the-10410-security-update-2007-007-work-for-intelamd/ Share on other sites

BJMoose
Same here, no AMD processors in my systems, but both of my Intel based systems have accepted the security updates (JaS + PascalW) and (Uphuck v1.4iR3 + Koolkal). mistapony
I'm still sort of confused. So you actually run apples software update to go to 10.4.10 then run the patcher or something. I thought 10.4.10 needed a lot of backing up extensions in order to get it to run? sumguy
this thread is about applying the 2007-007 security update to existing 10.4.10 it is NOT about updating 10.4.9 to 10.4.10 that is covered in other threads. BJMoose
Just started putting together my first AMD hackintosh from a bunch of spare parts. While there are a lot of little things that still need correcting, the updates from apple do work. shimq1
I installed the 2007-007 update then attempted to apply the patch, but I got "0 of 3 found patches were successfully applied". Also, Spotlight stopped working. What am I doing wrong? Thanks.
