  1. I got to /etc by using "Go to Folder..." from Finder, but I can't seem to find a "rc.local" file. Is it okay if I made my own with TextEdit?
  2. Where can I get the AppleACPIPowerSource.kext if I have the vanilla AppleACPIPlatform.kext?
  3. Where can I get the AppleACPIPowerSource.kext? Thanks
  4. I installed the 2007-007 update then attempted to apply the patch, but I got "0 of 3 found patches were successfully applied". Also, Spotlight stopped working. What am I doing wrong? Thanks.
  5. My video card is also 5D4F. The Callisto 0.0.6 drivers worked for me, although the 0.0.8 didn't work.
  6. No USB mouse/keyboard during install

Have you tried unplugging the USB devices and plugging them back in to see if they're detected?
  7. Slick hackintosh cases

Check out these 2 Antec cases. P150: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16811129166 Solo: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16811129018
  8. Is the thing on the top left corner?
  9. Help with sound!

Is there a difference between typing all of that and using the repair permissions in disk utility?
  10. Whats a good sized partition

When you install, you should deselect the printer drivers and languages that you don't need to save space.
  11. JaS, HOTiso, Other

Someone said the Goatsecx DVD is good for AMD and nForce users, though I'm not sure.
  12. Help booting problem

Try this installation guide. Link: http://blog.adonias.cl/leer.php?id=78&Lang=EN
  13. Cant See Hard Disk.

I have the same nForce4 chipset, and I don't think SATA is supported yet. You'll have to get an IDE hard drive.
  14. Cant See Hard Disk.

What motherboard chipset do you have and are the hard drives IDE/ATA or SATA? I also got the "Still waiting for root device" error when I tried to install from VMware, so I purchased an IDE hard drive.
  15. Yes, that's what I mean, another partition on your hard drive. I got the EXACT error as you did when I followed that guide. I used the video guide here: http://blog.adonias.cl/leer.php?id=78 and it worked without a problem, although I still need to get a USB keyboard. BTW, is your hard drive IDE/ATA or SATA?
