majkoll
hello! trying to help a friend install windows on her mac, some programs she got doesn't work with OS. when im trying to make a partition i got this error: "the disk cannot be partitioned because some files cannot be moved. back up the disk and use Disk Utility to format it as a single Mac Os Extended (Journaled) volume. Restore your information to the disk and try using Boot Camp again." this is probablly an easy problem for you guys but for a pc-user this is not... : ) best regards majkoll

skyhighmac
Get them from a torrent site. If you didn't get good discs, and I don't think there are any Apple stores in Chile, just get it from a torrent site. Just keep the bad discs just in case Apple comes knocking at your door. -Bj
hey.. kinda late post, but there is a fix to this problem. Just give your Tiger partition MORE room. This would fix the "cannot make partition" problem.
