My mac book pro just wont connect to the smc router. the funny thing is that when i connect to it using windows via bootcamp it connect normally and if i restart in time to os x 10.4.10 my wifi works, but if i try to connect directly without loading windows first, it just wont work. I've updated all the firmwares, Airport extreme and the routers, and still nothing. is there something that i can do? flash the router with a custom firmware or something? im stuck and i dont wanna go ahead and buy a new router.

thanx

If you cable connect it works?

I use a SMC with MAC filtering , but don't have a wireless mac . No problems with anything from a G3imac to various hac's

I 've heard of mac laptops causing win machines to disconnect temporarily on a router. Making me believe they do have Wireless issues.

Haven't done any firmware updates on the router. SMC W14G
