pcmacro
Ok, sorry for my english. I´ll try. The question is: Why the videos are running faster in my hackintosh than in my PC? The videos are in 30 fps and looks as in 45-50 fps. In the PC the videos run at normally speed. Any suggest will be appreciated. System Specs. Intel Core 2 duo e6550 1 gb ram Asrock 1333 d667 GPU 7600GS Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/62008-videos-run-faster-than-in-pc/ Share on other sites
antic
You probably have the processor Front Side Bus set to the incorrect speed Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/62008-videos-run-faster-than-in-pc/#findComment-439440 Share on other sites
hoyanf
Video's runs above 30fps when theres no audio... If not it requires to be in sync A/V... Maybe you feel its lighter on OSX compared to Windows... Core Image Core Video Core Audio and coming Core Animation... Windows -> DirectX Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/62008-videos-run-faster-than-in-pc/#findComment-439494 Share on other sites
antic
Load up Quicktime. Click on Windows on the menu. Check the A/V controls that the playback speed is set 1X Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/62008-videos-run-faster-than-in-pc/#findComment-439528 Share on other sites
sg
is your system OC'd? if so try disabling it. but basically you have an older kernel that doesnt support FSB detection, get one of the semthex or netkas kernels i guess.
