Miro30
Hi there, Everytime my computer starts up I get the "disk initialization error" and it wants me either to ignore it, initalize or format. Is there a way to stop this from happening? Many thanks, Miro30 My specs: Asus P5W DH Deluxe Motherboard 2 gig ram Pent D805 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/61039-how-do-i-get-rid-of-the-disk-initialization-error-at-start-up/ Share on other sites
digifreak
First you could try to just mount your partitions using diskutillitie. If that doesn't work out for you, you could try to copy your data onto another disk and reformate the disk using osx. Afterwards you copy your data back. If you`re using windows, it might be a good idea to not reformat the disk using osx (just delete the partition) and reformat the disk using windows.
