  1. Hello, I Just installed Yosemite on an Asus Rampage IV, i7-3930k and GTX 580 gig card, two monitors. Everything is working great but when I click and drag windows there is a slight delay. When working in Adobe Premiere it's very noticeable when I'm scrubbing the timeline the timeline cursor is slow to catch up to my mouse. This happens with everything in Yosemite, I'm not sure if it's my graphics card or if there is a fix. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Miro
  2. Hello, Many thanks for your tutorial! I've gone through all the steps and boot from the USB drive, select the install USB and it goes into the apple screen with the rotating circle then just goes dark and monitor losses signal. Have tried all the suggestions on this thread with no success. I have an Asus P5W DH motherboard. I think I have all the setting correct in the BIOS (I am running 10.6.3 on this motherboard), just can't figure what I'm doing wrong. Any help would be great! Miro
  3. Hello, My XFX GeForce 8800GT was working fine in 10.6.3, but once I upgraded to 10.6.6, the video lags. For example, when I drag a folder on my desktop, the folder lags behind my mouse cursor. I do video editing and graphics, and the video lag is very noticeable. Does anyone have any solutions? Any help would be great! Many thanks Asus P5W DH motherboard 8 gigs of ram XFX GeForce 8800GT Alpha Dog Edition Q6600 Intel CPU
  4. Hello, I need help getting my USB high speed to work on my ASUS P5W DH motherboard to work. My transfer speeds are very slow, at USB 1. Any help would be great! Miro
  5. Go to this site: http://www.kakewalk.se/ People are using this method. I'm planning on buying the same MOBO as you, so am curious how your install turns out. Good luck, Miro

Hi there, Have a question for you. Have you been able to get the wireless onboard working on your SL? I can't seem to get it working in 64bit mode. Many thanks
  7. Thanks for the reply. I tested my system with and without QT 7.6, it started crashing when I installed QT 7.6. I can confirm that, did 3 tests. It was QT 7.6 every time. I am running Snow Leopard with QT 10 that comes native, and running Final Cut Studio 3 with no problems. This is how I came to my conclusion. Thanks again for your response
  8. Hello, Has anyone got the realtek wireless working in Snow Leopard in 64 bit mode. Have tried but have not been successful. I can run SL in 32 bit mode, but the computer crashes after a few minutes. Many thanks, Miro
  9. Hello, I installed Chameleon 2 RC4 on my Snow Leoapard and works fine, however, I can see all the processes, I guess verbose mode, while booting. Is there a way not to have this displayed and have a apple graphic instead? Many thanks, Miro
  10. Thx bmxer55! Miro Bmxer, just out of curiosity, are you running BIOS 3001. Do I need speedstepping to make my computer run better? I'm running it at a default at 2.4 GHZ (its a Q6600, not a GO stepping) Many thanks, Miro
  11. Reaktor, Here is a forum that is dedicated to the P5W DH Motherboard Miro
  12. Hello, I installed Snow Leopard on my P5W DH, Q6600, 8 gigs RAM and XFX 8800 GT. Haven't tried sound yet but everything else seems to work right. However, Snow Leopard boots into 32 bit mode, not 64 bit. I used 314TeR method to install Snow Leopard and using BIOS vers. 3001. Can anyone help to show me how to have it automatically go into 64 bit mode. Many thanks to 314TeR for all your hard work and the rest of you who are contributing! BTW: Is anyone running Final Cut Studio 3 on Snow Leopard? Thanks again, Miro
