RedSox Posted August 18, 2007 Share Posted August 18, 2007 All I can really say is, first off, iMovie 08 is great. The way you can work (workflow) is great. I can also say by way of working with Apple and some IT developers that work with Apple, is that FCP will be coming soon, probably around the launch of Leopard. The new FCP won't be like iMovie 08, but it won't be like it is right now, the work flow is going to be tremendously overhauled. And its going to be very APPLE. I don't have any scoop yet on LOGIC yet - but for those thinking about FCP express or Pro, I would wait a few more months. The only thing I would do is get FC express with APPLE employee discount which is quite good, if you want me to post how much, I would rather email you what employees get, unless its a well known fact anyway. Please don't post topics like this or Apple will think they did something right with iMovie '08, and that'll be the worst thing to happen in a long time. Removing features is not cool. They are, I think I meant 7. Its very APPLE Like.... iMovie 08 did remove features - so they released another d/l, but the newest FCP will be coming and soon and it will be very APPLE like. Regarding iMovie 08, I think its great, the work flow is so easy. Very simplimplistic and FCP the newer one, si supposed to be revamped.
