I know the internal floppy driver for OSX86 doesn't exist but can you recommend a software that will format floppies so that it can be read on old Macs like the LC-575 , Color Classic or the Mac SE But if anyone knows a driver for OSX86, even if its buggy, I'll try that at the same time. voxxdigital Posted August 25, 2007 Share Posted August 25, 2007 Did you try Basilisk II (68k) or SheepShaver (PPC)? Your PC will actually become an old Mac (well, in a Window) with a fully functional floppy drive*. You will need the Mac OS 8 install disk and a valid Mac ROM. SheepShaver goes up to OS 9.1. *you must be running it on Windows.
