hello,

i've installed the uphuck V1.3 (kernel 8.9.1) on my system (asus p4b266 SSE2 intel P4 northwood 2,4@2,88Ghz + Sapphire radeon 9600XT 256 Mo)

installed callisto b008, edit the info.plist to change my graphic card ID (4152) : callisto works fine, can change resolution in control panel.

(i use 1280x1024x32@75hz)

then, edit the atireadeon9700GA.plugins and changed the good line to "CallistoFB" to enable QE/CI.

but no QE or CI avaible...

I made this with my other partition -> jas 10.4.6 dvd -> update jas 10.4.7 and under 10.4.7, with callisto 008, QE/CI worked fine...

In this 2 cases, agpgart doesn't change the speed so i decide not to install it, (test agpgart 2.1, agpgart 2.2 crash my system)

Could you please help me to make QE/CI working on 10.4.9 uphuck v1.3 and my AGP 9600XT video card ?

Is there another way to enable QE/CI on uphuck v1.3 OSX86 ? I've tested uphuck v1.4i r2 and same problem...

or possible with new uphuck release ???

Thank's

Hi,

I have the same problem with MacOsX 10.4.9. I have a P4 SSE2 and a X800XT videocard.

In my JaS 10.4.8 version everything works fine (with Callisto : QE/CI and resolution change). When I update with Koolkal to 10.4.9 with the 8.9.1 kernel, no QE/CI anymore.

I copied the kexts from a backup of 10.4.8 and rebuild the kext cache, but it won't work.

Don't have a solution yet. Someone ???

Grtz, AntarcticP

thank's kingroach !!

I will test it this evening, but i just open the zip file and see an agpgart extension : withch release is it ?

(i test v2.1 on my system worked but desable QE and CI when used with Callisto... and v2.2 wont boot)

so my question is : does your solution need agpgart to make QE/CI to work ? or may i not use your agpgart.kext ?

What are the releases of the other kext ? (comes from witch OSX ?)

Does someone test this on uphuck v1.3 ?

Thanks for the file, Kingroach, all works great now. :censored2: QE /CI /QE 2D and AGP recognized by agpgart v1.0

I enable Quartz 2D in quartz debug and then force Quartz debug to quit not to desable quartz 2D, but

do i need to make this every time i shutdown /restart my computer ?
