But, adding another gig of memory is the cheapest boost you can give the mini, especially with prices coming down so much in the last few months. I would do the memory upgrade first, and wait a little to see if cpu prices come down. Unless you are processing video or other intensive tasks, the cpu upgrade can wait. The 1.6 mini I bought for my dad just screams with 2 gigs of ram. You will gain some performance, but I (being the miser that I am) don't think that, dollar to MHz you. would be getting your money's worth. If you were rendering video or doing multitrack audio or intense games I'd say go for it.
