Urbz Posted August 7, 2007 Share Posted August 7, 2007 just downloaded 9a499... decided i'd give it a shot, now that i have started backing up regularly (what have I got to lose? ) but i wanna test it on my powerbook... I'm not sure if the problem would be reproduced with a dl dvd (I don't have one around) but currently the only way for me to get this installed is to put the dvd on an external disk, which only uses usb. Problem is, that means I have to put the powerook in target disk mode, and hook it up to an intel mac just so the drive can be seen. That also means that it thinks it needs a guid partition table. Can I safely install leopard to a guid table on a PPC mac if I reformat the drive? Will it work?
