My order is going in by the end of the week, one way or another. I'm making getting one a condition of continued employment at work, they own me a new desktop. ;) The only question is whether it is going to be the 1.83GHz model or the 2GHz model (I might settle for the slower model to convince them to drop an extra $250 on a 200GB 7.2Krpm Hitachi HDD) and what keyboard/mouse/display peripherals for the desk at work. For running it at home I'm going to for now stick with the Logitech USB keyboard and a FPD2185W Gateway I've got. The Gateway's case isn't the prettiest but the screen itself is more than passable and I like being able to rotate the screen from landscape to portrait.

These Minis are absolutely dirt cheap for what you get in that form-factor. A total bargin even if I had no intention of running OSX. The closest Intel based PCs I've seen to match are hundreds of dollars more, I could have bought one of the old Minis and bought upgrades for the CPU, RAM, and HDD for what those cost.

All I need at this point to tick off every "want" I have is for Boot Camp to start including Vista x64 drivers too because then I could use the new Apple blue-tooth keyboard when I dual boot to 64-bit Vista. But I can live without that....for now. ;)

I always hated the iMac, dispised it..

I don't know if I despise it, but I certainly don't understand what all the hoopla is about :help: I'm sure the iMac fine for a mom and pop computer, but using your own monitor is a BIG plus to me. Just wish Apple would come out with a Mac Mini Pro version, now that would be awesome :D
