GaryW
Hi. I've searched the forums for a solution to this problem but couldn't find anything, so if this question has already been answered, my apologies in advance. I've just installed 9A499 on my C2D Macbook and it went without a hitch. So far I'm very impressed with it, except for one problem. In front row the volume buttons on the remote don't seem to work, though I can control it via the keyboard no problem. This is the same thing that happened when I installed the Apple TV front row replacement on Tiger. Every other button on the remote works as you would expect, just not the volume ones. Has anyone experienced this before? Thanks again. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/59123-universal-remote-and-build-9a499/ Share on other sites
Ayanami
Haven't gotten to 9a499 yet (it's downloading), but they didn't work for me on 9a466. xShad0w
you might be able to setup a script to make it so when you click the button, it uses the keypad to change the volume instead of directly changing the volume, this is easier with remote buddy actually instead of making a script, try that if you can Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/59123-universal-remote-and-build-9a499/#findComment-421305 Share on other sites
Stadsport
Yeah, I have the same issue. It did this in 9A466, too. The controls are also insane outside of Front Row. For example, hitting volume up or down makes it shoot up or down, hitting play/pause seems to click twice even if its a VERY quick tap.
