XXSLATERXX
Hello, I`m new here and it would be great if anyone could help me to solve my problem. I`ve installed OSX 10.4.8 on my Dell Inspiron 6400. During the Installation I didn`t have any problems. The first time I started i got this message: panic (cpu0 caller) 0x........... just look at the picture: http://slater-live.de/mac.JPG Sorry about my bad english but it would be great if anyone has an idea thanks, Slater Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/58601-panic-cpu-caller-osx-1048/ Share on other sites

time ed
Its kernel 8.8.1 and the Jas Amd/Intel install disk......look there: http://slater-live.de/mac.JPG I had a similar problem with the same distro on an e4400 dual-core box. I installed the Uphuck 1.4i(r2) distro instead. The difference between the two is SpeedStep, I think (please someone correct me). Put it this way, after more than a few tries at different installations, I get this error at startup everytime SpeedStep isn't installed.
