bemac Posted July 25, 2007 Share Posted July 25, 2007 I was under the assumption that the dell 1390 wireless card for notebooks was detected by default by OSX. Having replaced the Atheros AR5007 with the Dell DW1390 ... I still get "no information found" under system profiler > Network ... and of course no connection. Anything else I should be doing? I replaced my AR5007EG with an AirPort Extreme (AR5006EXS), and now the switch doesn't work, the wireless card is always on. It works perfectly with Ubuntu and Windows. I ordered a dell 1390, so we'll se how linux reacts to that, although my friend has had a lot of trouble with that card, and it came with his inspiron 1501.
