olaeke
I read about a loptop for $150, its named Celebrity and is made by Medison. The specs can be found on this page: http://www.medisoncelebrity.com/product.html I know there arent specs for all the hardware, like what type of network card it uses... But with the information that we have, would it be possible to run MacOS X on it? Emre SUMENGEN
It looks good to me, even if it can't run OSx good. (It would at least support SSE2 and with AC97 you'd probably get sound output. Networking is just a matter of PCMCIA/USB if onboard connectors don't work.) But the question is; Is this a dependable company to give your credit card? (It's weird they don't offer "come-and-buy-in-store" or any other form of payment than online CC.) Let me (us) know if you buy and actually get one. I'd add that to my inventory without a second thought Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/58084-medison-celebrity/#findComment-414749 Share on other sites
U.C.
No chance of you getting video acceleration. You will need to get more RAM for a smoother experience. But seriously, check up on the company background. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/58084-medison-celebrity/#findComment-414763 Share on other sites
