Данчо
My Macintosh HD got screwed up badly after the last Apple update, and this time even Disk Warrior 4 bootable could not repair it. I got the usual symptoms: OS X does not lad. Luckily, I was able to back up most of my data through Windows and now it's time to format and reinstall OS X. Do I need to just insert the install DVD and follow the steps? Will Bootcamp be still fully functional after the reinstall? Can I get Leopard, or I have to pay extra? Thanks!! Wizi
Привет, The Mac OS X DVD disc has an option at the very beginning of the installation that allows you to format the "Macintosh HD" partition and install a fresh copy on it. I assume that Boot Camp will continue to work without any problems. But that's just an assumption of mine You can get Leopard for free because it's still beta version and it's not officially out. We shall sit and wait until October when it will be finally announced on the market. I personally will wait until they have it completed and than install it. I see no point installing it now and than once again after 2 months. Regards! Данчо
Ok, so I'll go for Tiger again, and you guys are sure sure that bootcamp will still work? (sorry, just never done it before, you know how it is..)
