I'm running a Dell Inspiron 600M 1 GB Ram ATI Mobility Radeon 9000 graphics (32 mb vram) an SSE2 capable processor, (Centrino), SSE. After install, it just shows Apple logo with a circle spinning. After waiting one hour, it still hasn't gotten any progress. Just the Apple logo with a circle. If anyone can help, thanks! If it stalls at 21xx cluster buffers error, you need to format and boot up a 10.4.6 or some other earlier version, and then copy appleacpifamily.kext over to your 1.4i install, and then reboot. I'm unable to get that file as i do not have a previous installation kicking around (and im not going to download and install an older version just to get that one thing) so would someone be so kind as to gzip me AppleACPIFamily.kext please?
