steve22
Hi! I just noticed - there is an add to iPhoto button when you QuickLook an image. We'll probably see iLife in Leopard. After all: Vista comes with a Photo, Movie, and DVD program while Mac OS X does not ~Matt Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/57721-iphoto-will-be-bundled-with-leopard/ Share on other sites
Guest Ramm
Where do you see this? I am quicklooking images, and I don't see any sort of iPhoto icon. INFNITE
basically every Mac released in the past couple of years is equipped with iLife, so pretty much every Mac has iPhoto installed. Doesn't necessarily mean that the updated version of iLife will be packaged with Leopard. Adrian Fogge
Correct. We can not assume that Apple will be bundling iLife into Leopard, however it would be a good bet that they will likely be making some major tie-ins to make it all seem to be more integrated. Personally, I am expecting Apple to release a bundle of Leopard + iLife that they plan on selling to everyone, touting major improvements like the ability to track versions of documents inside of your applications without needing to jump over to TimeMachine to do it. I also would expect that there will be a mode inside most of the iApps to use Spaces to change your tools while staying on the same document. Example: Garageband Your song will be shared between all of your workspaces, however workspace 1 will have just your timeline full screen, while 2 will have your Midi Panel and Timeline, 3 will be your loops and 4 will be your effects. -- This has all been a hypothesis based on information that is publically available and is not based on any inside knowledge other than my own intuition and the current development trends. SeanM
In Mac OSX 10.4 Tiger when you do the slideshow it has an add to iPhoto button as well.... so nope this doesn't mean anything for sure. Hope its true though... Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/57721-iphoto-will-be-bundled-with-leopard/#findComment-416374 Share on other sites
Taylor_C
Assuming that Leopard doesn't come with iLife, it'd still be possible to use the included installation disks that came with your Mac to install it, yes? This assuming that a newer version isn't out in time for Leopard.
