HackBook Pro
I have an Intel GMA 950 Chipset (Mobile Intel 945GM Express). Under System Profiler under Sound Card it says "Intel High Defination Sound." But under System Preferences > Sound > Output it says no sound card found. I tried playing a song in iTunes and it won't play. What drivers do I need, and where can I get them? sarahbau
If you can get sound out of an Intel GMA 950 graphics chipset, you'd be an evil genius! lol. GMA950 is graphics. 945GM is the northbridge chipset. Do you know what audio chipset it has, or can you say which computer or motherboard you have? HackBook Pro
I have a Toshiba Satellite A104-S4114 (Laptop). In Windows, I use the Realtek HD Audio Drivers... Haha, yea I know the difference between the north/south bridge, and the graphics/sound cards..... I wrote that post very quickly... bemac
Could try the Azalia drivers. Mine has realtek HD audio too, but wouldn't work with the realtek. Tried the Azalia by chance during a re-install and had sound. No headphones though.
