SuBDivisions
Here is my system: Alienware m5790 Laptop Intel Core2Duo 2.16 4M 2 Gig Ram 17" LCD Ati Radeon x1900 Dual 100 Gig SATA 7200 Rpm Drives XP installed on 1st Drive Vista Installed on 2nd (60 gig partition) Bootit NG 1.81 Installed as boot manager. I am trying to install os x to a 20 gig partition i set aside on the secondary drive (which bootit ng should make see as the first), but the OS X Disk utility will not see the drive at all, it only sees the dvd rw drive. Has anyone used Bootit NG and all the options it has to move drives around to successfully do this? I got Vista running of the secondary drive with no problem. Or is it i have an incompatible sata chipset in this laptop? I have the partition set as a fat32 formatted. Any help is appreciated.
