GeoffreyR
I just want a single boot. i am planning on throwing OSX on a secondary computer. http://coolblog.profit42.com/2007/04/14/os...r-no-dual-boot/ that guide is for installing 10.4.9 but the install steps involve first installing 10.4.8?? is there a reason installing 10.4.9 right off the bat wont' work? also, i am planning on installing it on this computer which is yet to be released: http://www.asus.com/news_show.aspx?id=7317 http://www.hothardware.com/Articles/Hands_...h_the_ASUS_Eee/ and it has no CD/dvd drive. can i install osx86 from a USB drive? Guest Ramm
I doubt it will work on that little machine. If you are going to try, use an external DVD reader and uphuck's 1049, but wait for version 1.4 to come out. sarahbau
Even if it would work on the chipset (which as far as I know is untested), it only has a 4 or 8GB drive, which isn't really enough for OS X. The CPU only needs to handle certain instruction sets, which for the most part stay the same from CPU to CPU.
