vulcanlucas
Hi I've been running just Mac for the past month or so (i'm on an AMD 10.4.10 Hackintosh) but decided today to have a Windows partition. I've had a drive which I formatted using OSX's Disk Utility to MS-DOS Fat32 a while ago but my new Windows Partition does not recognise it as Fat32 or mount it. Is this a common problem and is there a fix? Thanks a lot! sarahbau
What's the partition scheme? Is it MBR or Apple Partition Map? vulcanlucas
All I can tell from Disk Utility is that it is GUID Partition Table. vulcanlucas
Thanks, what is the safest way to do this without losing any of my data? I've tried right-clicking the partition under Windows Disk Management but there is no conversion option. Cheers for your help! vulcanlucas
I've looked into it and it looks like I may just have to take the jump and install Vista since that OS supports GUID... Unless someone explain how to convert partition tables without losing data?
