youngi
hey guys, I live in Egypt, and i was goin to get a laptop, i need high specs, 2Ghz or more CPU, 2Gb RAM, 120 HDD or more, 128MB video or more...it's mainly for video editing. i know everyone will say GO GET A MACBOOK, i do want to, but it's hell expensive in egypt like around $600 more. what's ur recommendation to be able to put the OSx86 with no problem along with xp or vista...also will this laptop have a copy of vista included in case of a reinstall or something? thank you, Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/56730-laptops-recommendation-for-osx86-compatibility/ Share on other sites

sarahbau
$1200 seems really low for the specs you want. I just configured a Dell Inspiron 1520 that ended up being $1424, which is pretty good (but I don't know how much it will be in Egypt).
