vbetts Posted July 10, 2007 Share Posted July 10, 2007 So, I've come to relize that my current mobo, and rest of my hardware won't work with Osx86,because nothing for the ACPI on the board, and the board doesn't have any real bios updates, and Asus has no record of the board. =[ and I'd like to build a cheap mac x86 pc, but based on Intel Pentium D, or the new Pentium Dual core, which are the Allendale cores. sarahbau Posted July 10, 2007 Share Posted July 10, 2007 It all looks like it should work, but an X300 isn't a very good choice of video card. I think most ATI cards below the X1600 have mouse tearing, and are harder to get working with QE/CI than the higher model cards or nVidia 7000 series cards.
