Ayanami
I've got a couple little bugs that I haven't seen anyone really talk about, so I figured I'd bring a few of them up. BTW, 15" MacBook Pro, 2.16 Core 2 Duo, 1 Gig RAM, 120 HD 1) - Webcam as an ambient light sensor: From what I can tell, this does not work at all. I've never seen my screen brightness change during any change of light. 2) - Backlit Keyboard: This is related to #1, but a little different. My keyboard is always backlit, but not all the way. It seems like it's 1/3 on...Not nearly as bright as on Tiger. I can still turn backlighting off thoguh.... 3) - Eject Button: On Tiger, if I had a Disk in my drive and hit the eject button, for the most part, it would interact with the app; Stop DVD Player, Quit CD Playing in iTunes, etc. If I want to eject a disk, I have to stop iTunes or DVD player. 4) - Remote The controls don't quite seem to work with Front Row correctly. Haven't messed around with this enough though....I kinda misplaced my remote =( 5) - Buggy iTunes I noticed this a few days ago. I was going through and massively cleaning out my music collection. I think I pulled 1200 songs off my library. iTunes was really buggy during this. My music is on a different partition though....Don't know if that has anything to do with it. 6) - Disk Utility It creates partitions well enough, but will NOT delete them. Really annoying. Won't resize any either. 7) - Two finger scroll in Safari On a few websites (This one, and Interface Lift were the most noticeable), Safari will scroll down about halfway with the two finger scroll, and then stops. I have to go to the side and drag the scroll bar or use the arrows. 8) - Startup noise This really isn't an annoyance (Well, it was on Tiger), but when I shut down Leopard and turn it back on, it doesn't make that little "Turn on" sound. If I start up in Tiger, and shut down from that, and turn it back on, it's still there. Wierd.... 9) Cover flow changes view styles on 10.4 I have 4 partitions on my HD... One for 10.5, one for 10.4, a Shared storage space, and a spot for Time Machine. I have most of my Finder windows set to Coverflow in 10.5. If I go back to 10.4 for any reason, it changes all my view settings. I can change them back, and then after I use 10.5 again, they go all crazy again. 10) I WANT A NEW TAB BUTTON FOR SAFARI!!!! Come on Apple. Haven't we been hacking that since the week 10.4 was released? Come on.... That's about all for now....All the other bugs I've had have been documented and complained about in other threads.
